well, i finally got here again to put something in my space. I have been so flat out with this hospitality course and I have been milking cows, doing about 6 to 9 milkings a week and I'm telling you now that it gets so hard sometimes with the way the cows act, they don't want to come on the platform so you have to go out there every 5 minutes and you fall behind and you have to try catch up. then when the do eventually come on they start kicking. On Friday night one of the bosses brought 13 heifers from one of the other farms to put in the main herd, the next morning it was so damn hard to get them on the platform (it's only because they've never been there before) but then once they were on they were fine and it was easier cupping them up than the other cows. I had my yearly family reunion yesterday, I got to meet a great Uncle I've never met before and some other reletives. not much else has happened apart from work, work and more work!!!
